Error 30005

Description

The Easy Anti-Cheat service was unable to start the game. This error is usually accompanied by a more detailed message like "CreateFile failed with 32." The most common cause of the 30005 error is that an Easy Anti-Cheat file on disk has been locked by another program and cannot be accessed.

Steps to resolve

Rebooting is the simplest way to resolve this problem. If it happens repeatedly, another piece of installed software like anti-virus may be interfering with the operation of the anti-cheat. Consider adding an anti-virus exclusion for the Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat_EOS directory.
